What is Permanent Jewellery?
A meaningful piece, fitted especially for you
Permanent jewellery is a bracelet, anklet or hand chain that is custom fitted and carefully welded together without a traditional clasp.
The process is quick, painless and completely safe. A tiny connecting ring is welded closed while the jewellery is on you, without the equipment touching your skin.
Despite the name, it can still be removed safely using scissors whenever necessary.

Whether you visit alone or together, every piece is fitted and created especially for you.
Repairs and re-welding policy
Permanent jewellery is delicate by design so it can safely break if pulled with enough force.
If the original welded join fails within 30 days, we will re-weld it free of charge where the chain remains suitable.
Re-welding outside this period is £10. If the chain itself has stretched, snapped or become damaged, a replacement chain may be required.
Please keep the jewellery if it comes off and bring it with you to your appointment.
Aftercare

✔️ Stainless steel jewellery can generally be worn while swimming.
✔️ Avoid applying perfume, skincare and harsh chemicals directly onto the chain.
✔️ Sterling silver may naturally tarnish and require occasional cleaning.
✔️ Gold-plated finishes may gradually fade depending on wear and exposure.
✔️ Check the chain regularly for stretching or damage.
✔️ Never pull or force the jewellery.

Absolutely. The jewellery is welded closed, not to your skin. We use the highest quality welding equipment on the market, and the spark generated is minimal and does not reach dangerous temperatures. For added safety, we provide protective eyewear and a protective layer between your skin and the jewellery during the welding process.
Yes, although these pieces are designed to be a "forever" keepsake, they can be removed if needed. Simply use a pair of sharp scissors to cut the chain. If you prefer, we can also add a clasp to make it removable.
Solid gold and sterling silver do not affect MRI scans as they are non-magnetic. However, some medical professionals may ask you to remove all jewellery as a precaution. If you need to remove your welded jewellery, simply cut the chain at the jump ring, and you can bring it back to us for re-welding later.
These pieces are designed to withstand everyday wear with minimal maintenance. However, to keep your jewellery looking its best, we provide an aftercare kit that helps remove any debris or build-up that may occur over time.
Permanent jewellery made of solid gold or sterling silver will not trigger metal detectors at airport security as these metals are non-magnetic. You can wear your jewellery with confidence while traveling.
There is no strict age limit for this service, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We also recommend checking your school’s policy on wearing jewellery, particularly during sports or physical activities.
Due to the bespoke nature of this service, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges. If your chain breaks at the weld point within the first week, we will re-weld it free of charge if you contact us and bring it back. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for lost chains.
